About us

The Bricklayers Arms is situated only a few minutes from the M25 and A41 in the quaint village of Flaunden, nestled between the villages of Chipperfield and Latimer.

It's extremely popular with horse riders and walkers, and a great retreat for lunch or dinner.

The Bricklayers Arms and Flaunden have been featured in many fictional film and television programmes due to their ideally-situated location, hidden within the beautiful countryside of Hertfordshire.

The Bricklayers Arms has been awarded Hertfordshires' "Dining Pub of the Year" in "The Good Pub Guide 2009"  for the second year in a row along with being named as The top "Freehouse of the Year 2008" at The Great British Pub Awards, Awarded also The AA's Pick of the Pubs in the "The AA Pub Guide 2009"; with a recommendation in the much coveted Michelin Guide; CAMRA's 'Best Food Pubs in Britain', Hardens Guide 2009 plus several other restaurant, food and pub guides.
